Our Origin

EvolveAI began its journey as a club consisting of ambitious team members within Chitkara University's Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) in 2021. It is guided by visionaries like Dr. Sushil Kumar Narang and driven by dedicated individuals like Dr. Kamal Deep Garg and Dr. Vandana Sood. EvolveAI aspires to nurture a vibrant community centered around Artificial Intelligence. Our motive is to empower future AI leaders by offering the students exceptional opportunities for learning, growth, and contribution in the dynamic realm of AI.

Our Vision

We believe fostering collaboration and innovation in students is essential for them to thrive in the AI landscape. We want to help students achieve it through massive initiatives such as technical workshops, hackathons, competitions, and other interactive sessions. EvolveAI aims to cultivate a culture of perpetual learning and exploration among AI enthusiasts. The club believes that with the right guidance, resources, and mentorship, it can endeavor to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to emerge proficiently as AI leaders and practitioners. EvolveAI envisions a future where its members confidently lead the charge in AI research, engineering, and product development, catalyzing innovation and imaginative applications for the advancement of society.

HackIndia 2025 - India's Biggest Web3 & AI Hackathon!

Hosted at Chitkara University, HackIndia 2025 brought together tech enthusiasts from across the nation for a two-day coding marathon focused on Web3 and AI. Teams dived into real-world challenges, ideated breakthrough solutions, and built prototypes under time pressure. The event fostered creativity, collaboration, and competitiveness, offering participants swags, certificates, and the opportunity to qualify for the national finals in Delhi. It served as a launchpad for young developers to innovate, compete, and contribute to shaping the future of decentralized and intelligent tech.

L&T EduTech HackForge: Think. Innovate. Prototype.

L&T EduTech HackForge: This high-energy 2-day hackathon began with students engaging in problem-solving challenges that demanded critical thinking, innovation, and teamwork. Participants collaborated under expert mentorship to brainstorm and prototype solutions focused on Generative AI and Agentic Tech. The event provided hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, encouraged creative solution-building, and culminated in project presentations before a panel of judges—fostering a spirit of innovation and practical learning aligned with IIC core areas.

AI Create 3.0: Connecting Pixels with Design Thinking highlighted prompt engineering and the fusion of AI with design.The event featured three engaging rounds—sustainability creativity and replication—challenging participants to craft AI-driven designs with meaningful impact. Through hands-on problem-solving students honed their critical thinking teamwork and adaptability. With a strong focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the event promoted responsible innovation. Industry expert Alok Diwan shared valuable insights inspiring students to explore AI-generated storytelling and push the boundaries of technology-driven creativity.
