Our Origin

EvolveAI began its journey as a club consisting of ambitious team members within Chitkara University's Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) in 2021. It is guided by visionaries like Dr. Sushil Kumar Narang and driven by dedicated individuals like Dr. Kamal Deep Garg and Dr. Vandana Sood. EvolveAI aspires to nurture a vibrant community centered around Artificial Intelligence. Our motive is to empower future AI leaders by offering the students exceptional opportunities for learning, growth, and contribution in the dynamic realm of AI.

Our Vision

We believe fostering collaboration and innovation in students is essential for them to thrive in the AI landscape. We want to help students achieve it through massive initiatives such as technical workshops, hackathons, competitions, and other interactive sessions. EvolveAI aims to cultivate a culture of perpetual learning and exploration among AI enthusiasts. The club believes that with the right guidance, resources, and mentorship, it can endeavor to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to emerge proficiently as AI leaders and practitioners. "AI Create 3.0: Connecting Pixels with Design Thinking highlighted prompt engineering and the fusion of AI with design.The event featured three engaging rounds—sustainability creativity and replication—challenging participants to craft AI-driven designs with meaningful impact. Through hands-on problem-solving students honed their critical thinking teamwork and adaptability. With a strong focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the event promoted responsible innovation. Industry expert Alok Diwan shared valuable insights inspiring students to explore AI-generated storytelling and push the boundaries of technology-driven creativity."

INTELLEX: A Critical Thinking Playground

"INTELLEX: A Critical Thinking Playground was a technical quiz contest to challenge and enhance problem-solving logical reasoning and teamwork among students. Through debugging challenges logic puzzles and buzzer rounds participants sharpened their analytical thinking under pressure. The event fostered collaboration encouraging teams to leverage their strengths effectively. A keynote by Dr. P.K. Khosla provided real-world insights bridging theory with practice. By promoting experiential learning Intellex nurtured an innovation-driven mindset preparing students to tackle complex challenges and excel in the ever-evolving tech industry with strategic thinking and adaptability."

OPEN GARAGE: Innovation for Good

“OPEN GARAGE: Innovation for Good” was an engaging offline event conducted in two phases, inspiring students to develop AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges. Participants showcased their ideas as viable business models, highlighting AI's transformative power. The first round involved public preferences, while the second round featured expert evaluations, fostering innovation, creativity, and teamwork. Top teams received certificates, gift vouchers, and a cash prize for the winner. This initiative celebrated the innovative spirit of students, encouraging practical problem-solving with AI. It sparked enthusiasm for further AI exploration and fostered collaboration among peers and industry experts, paving the way for meaningful societal and entrepreneurial advancements.
